in May, do as you please !

Henri Matisse, les acanthes, Fondation Beyeler
Pleasure is the sensation of an increase in power.
Friedrich Nietzsche, la volonté de puissance
what pleases is what fully satisfies, what fulfils, what makes one happy and joyful
Debussy, Preludes 2, Feu d’artifice,
do we do what we want?
rather, what is right, because it brings us into balance and is deeply aligned with us
even if it is out of step with those around us, with the situation, and if the ego doesn’t get its way
a balancing act!

does it give pleasure?
yes, pleasure is when we’re in tune and carried along by the currents around us, in harmony with the complexity of life and what underlies it, nourished and inspired by our source

it may be pleasant – or not, but a certain physical, emotional or mental discomfort does not detract from it
pleasure is not diminished by contrasts, oppositions, or the polarity inherent in duality

it is our natural state: an essential, innate, unalterable capacity
freed from our mental limitations, we experience it spontaneously everywhere, in all circumstances

what is the point of it?
it gives us power: momentum, motivation, determination; our vital forces unfold: creativity, inventiveness; all our resources are available for the free expression of our talents
in daily life, whatever happens, we can give a response that is aligned and in tune with the global harmony
a clear and flexible position!
The daily joy of blossoming whilst holding the loving hand that prepared the soil.
