One must have chaos within oneself to give birth to a dancing star.

fertile chaos
in a cycle, the chaotic phase is the freest, richest, most fertile, most creative and most joyful
anything is possible!
putting things into perspective
when nothing is going right on one level, see what is happening on other levels:
confusion magma flow
disorder vs bustle vs attraction
anarchy gestation attention, focus
apply yourself to changing your point of view or level !
what collapses on one level may be a harmonic resolution or an expansion on another level
Nicolas Stocker, Polyrub
the fruit to be born
in the fusion of the feminine and the masculine (in the broad sense), the fruit appears as both a potential and an emanation of the union :
the experience unfolds on several planes to be experienced simultaneously
on the one hand, the rise in frequency gives way to an expansion and an ascension that bring new possibilities to light
on the other hand, the fruit concretises the union of polarities in matter
it gives it form
there is descent, incarnation, a possible manifestation of the combined potentialities
rather than the result of fusion, the fruit is the beginning of union
1 + 1 = 3
Yi Jing 3 : initial difficulties
“Mostly made up of yin lines, the figure is organised around two yang lines (…) which highlight the two key moments of the situation: starting and leading. The chaotic atmosphere of new beginnings is conveyed by a profusion of images, where wild elements – forest, bandits, deer – mingle with attempts at organisation – carriages, weddings.
it is the confusion of beginnings!
to combat the dispersion and stagnation that are specific obstacles to getting started, we must not allow ourselves to be overcome by hesitation or carried away by impatience (…) Troubles all come at once: we must not only overcome inertia and impetuosity, but also simultaneously resolve problems of varying importance or at different levels.”
Yi Jing, The Book of Changes, Cyrille J D Javary, Pierre Faure
robustness
according to Olivier Hamant, robustness is the best response to a fluctuating world. It is based on adaptability, inventiveness, innovation, unconventional approaches, experimentation and diversification.
it is the opposite of performance and hyper-specialisation; it is better to be a generalist and versatile.
it is a possible way to make chaos fertile…
“Living things are not high-performing: they are neither effective (they have no objective) nor efficient (they waste a lot of energy and resources)”
